2. How to remove old car stickers

Soak a piece of newspaper in warm water, and place it on the sticker for ten minutes. This way, you can easily remove the stickers from the surface.

3.  What to do when the car door lock has frozen and the key won’t turn

You can use hand sanitizer gel to help defrost a frozen lock. Squeeze a small amount onto your finger and wipe it over the lock, making sure that it goes directly into the keyhole. It contains alcohol ethanol which will make the ice melt faster. You can also apply it to the car key itself and put it inside.

Another way to prevent frozen locks is to dip your key into Vaseline, put it into the lock, and turn the lock back and forth a few times. If you do not have de-icer, heating up the key with a lighter could also offer a quick fix. You can carefully heat it up with a lighter – on your own responsibility.
