1. MYTH: There are only 3 phases of matter: Solid, liquid, and gas
You forgot a big one: Plasma.
It’s actually really easy to think that solids are the richest form of matter in our galaxy, since all of us live on a giant rock called Earth. But here is a fact – plasma is vastly more abundant; stars, including our sun, are enormous orbs of gleaming plasma.
There are other sub-phases of matter, but don’t forget, solid, liquid, gas, and plasma are the main ones.
